80m-band 4-square vertical phased antenna array

DM7C is a contest team based in Klingenthal (Free State of Saxony). Current team members are Dirk-DL6CX, Olaf-DL7CX and Ed-DL8CX.

In recent years we specialized in low-band contesting. Thanks to the great support and hospitality of Mineralienzentrum Schneckenstein (Locator: JO60FJ), which is a mineral museum and tourist mine well worth visiting, we are able to set up our 80m-band 4-square vertical phased antenna array (see picture above) on the grounds during the autumn and winter seasons. The antenna system is usually installed in September or October and remains there until the end of March, giving our team members the opportunity to enter the single operator 80m categories in the major contests and thereby continuously improve their operational skills. Details on activity and results may be found on the Contest page.

Occasional contest activities on other bands are operated from a different location.

Thanks for visiting our website. See you in contest on the 80m-band.
