Next to the radio, the antenna is the most important component and a guarantee for success. It should be of course adapted to the really need but keep thinking about it. Improvements keep you fit.
My main antenna is a vertical antenna for 20m and 40m with elevated radials. I use a trap circuit for 20m and with a source coil it's possible to work on 60m if the 2 radials are fixed together. On the pictures below you can see some of my toys � ideas. The little box is the 60m coil with some needful accessories or repair tools for my outdoor activities. My funny tension kit from wood was a good idea... some nails in my box and this item is useful also in treelees areas. The curtain clip is a joke... but it's never broken in 2 years... . Next idea is to built a double winding with socket for vertical and coax and to fix all cables in one piece.
2nd antenna is a 20m long EFHW wire (end fed half wave) with a 1:49:
