Sunset at Inya Lake Hotel

This hotel was a present made by the USSR and inaugurated by late President Nikita Chruschtchow. One day I had my dinner at Inya Lake Hotel. The tables were very well arranged and I was guided to a seat. The waiter brought me the menu with an excuse. Sorry Sir, today we only have one meal but you nevertheless have two choices. I was wondering why. The first choice was " take it", the second was " leave it".Naturally it was Beef Stroganoff.

Shwedagon Pagoda with the bud-shaped pinnacle, an almost 2.500 year old, richly gilded Buddhist stupa atop Singuttara Hill about 6 km north from the city. The pagoda has 68 smaller pagodas, numerous shrines and prayer halls.
