Well, it was about time. Warm weather season' was almost over and I didn't
ride the Oddy yet. I was still working on the engine and mainly on the fuel
system (fuel lines and tank). In order to enjoy riding my Oddy at least once
before Christmas, I decided to use a small lawn mower fuel tank. Good enough for
now. Since I couldn't wait, I too did not put the rear right fender on the kart (was removed due to some work on the parking brake).
The carburetor was adjusted properly meanwhile and here we go:
The Oddy was doing ultra fine business. Great response and now much fumes.
Brakes are working OK, too. Steering OK, tires OK.
During winter 2003/2004 I decided to complete the wiring and the fuel system
in order to "go public" with the Oddy in the '04 season. Stay tuned.
