CW propagation tests - the good old way

As part of my Manned-Experimental-Propagation-Tests (MEPT) I sporadically operate a CW beacon when present in the shack.
Due to massive renovation works currently on-going, I could only set up a kind of emergency antenna here in Kempten, Bavaria, JN57dr:

A simple 1.7 m Bamboo stick out of the kitchen window, turned into a horizontal quarterwave, see below.

The TRX is a Sommerkamp TS-712P, modified to 1.5 W RF output and 28.166 MHz.
As keying device I can highly recommend the ID-O-Matic II standalone keyer, to which I added a manual trigger.

The preferred propagation is toward the west and east.
