Installing problems III

If you don't have success in solving the installing problems (especially the OLE errors) we have some more possibilities we can do :

I found several web-sites where this problem is discussed ! Also Microsoft is firm with this type of error ! We now have two possibilities to solve the problem.

1.

Please start your Computer in the secure mode (save mode), so windows won't have a hand on those system-files. The installation should go thru the whole installation-process then. If you have the SuperControl software on CD-ROM, please make sure that you have copied the installation file to your harddrive first, because in the Windows save mode the CD-ROM device is inaccessable. So you can start the installation by using the file on your Harddrive.

2.

In this case you should install the Microsoft VB Service Pack to your system. Several OM's reportet, that this would also solve the problem with the OLE files.
