The logbuch and the skedbook
You can start the logbook view with just one mouseclick to the "LOG"-button. At the bottom of the main screen of FT1000MP-SuperControl you can see the logbook with your earlier saved entries (refer to picture 1.1).

If you want to save a new Logbook entry, please make a double click with your mouse to the "Log write" button in the program main screen. This action will take you to the logbook entry form (refer to picture 1.2).

In this program part you already can find a function which will automatically search the database for still existing call signs. This means, if you put in a character to the text field "callsign", the whole database will be searched for any call signs beginning with this character. You can see all the found entries in the left upper text box "earlier contacts" then. So you will be able to easily determine whether a call sign has been worked before or not. After your made entries to the different text boxes, you'll be able to save a new record to the database by clicking the "save new logbook entry" button. If you don't want to save a new entry to the database and leave this logbook entry window, please push the "cancel" button. You will be taken to the program main screen then.
The functions of the skedbook are similar to the functions of the logbook. To be able to see the skedbook on the main screen of the program, please push the "SKED" button. You can see the skedbook frame at the bottom of the main program screen then. With the button "Sked write" you can open the skedbook entry window (refer to picture 1.3).

After you have made your desired entries here, please use the button "OK" to save a new record to the database. With the button "cancel" you can abort the skedbook entry. You can find yourself back in the program main screen then.
Please note:
If you notice some differences in the logbook or skedbook view (refer to picture 1.1 - if you can find only one wide column with the title "nr"), then you should initialize the column width of each column first. To do that, please use your mouse on the title above of each column and find a point at the right side of the title, where the mousepointer will change its design. Hold down the left mouse button and drag the right side of each column to the desired column width. Please repeat that with all other columns you can find. All the made changes will be automatically saved to the system, so they will be still available within the next start of the program.
