RIG: Dipole ant. + 100W (FT-857D)

·         After I got permission for 6m band in 2006, i was QRV only a few hours over the summer period and i was impressed how much QSO’s i did so far with just a simple dipole! For me was a very nice opening the 22.Aug.07 where the band was open (and I had time!) from 9am to 9pm. In the morning it started with ES-QSO’s to I/EA and ending for me late evening with ES/LA/SM – very nice.

·         My ODX on 6m is YO3/DL4AAZ, KM34AL, 2260KM

*DL3YEE, Klaus got a temporary permission for transmitting on 69.995Mhz. Due the fact i have on 4+6m band just simple dipols, i not expect it's working in CW/SSB. So we arranged a sked in JT65B for a 4m/10m crossband QSO (no digimode on 6m!). I was very impressed about the quick QSO, not enough for CW (in some periods the signal was audioable), but easy in JT65.

DL3YEE: 4m->IC-706+OZ2M TRV with PA,4-elem. - 10m->FT-2000, 3ele StepIr

DD7PC: 4m->Icom PCR-1000+OZ2M TRV, Dipol - 10m->FT-857, 60W, FD-4

** Hans, DL8PM (http://www.dl8pm.de) got a Experimental - Call : DI2PM 4 m - Band : Tx-QRG only 69.950 MHz for a period Jan.- Feb.2008. On 4.+5.Jan.08 we tried a 4m/10m X-Band QSO, but my signal had to much QSB (not enough for a QSO). I had my 6m & 2m antennas down (actually i need the space for my 23cm Yagi and 10GHz dish) and so we tried successful a 4m/40m Crossband-QSO - nice expierence! DI2PM was on both skeds always audioable with a bit QSB and i used again just a simple dipole antenna.

 on 4m i use a transverter from OZ2M / OZ7IS

- a great kit and easy to solder (see www.rudius.net/oz2m)

(in the 4m/10m QSO with DL3YEE i used 1st on 69.995MHz only the Icom PCR-1000 and heard nothing from him. Then i put the transverter in front of the PCR-1000 and directly i had a good copy of his JT65 signal!).
