Aug 11:
Bought a new
Transverter from Jürgen, DC0DA. As usual beautiful design and technical
construction….
2.8W on the
dish! Looking forward to the next rain scatter season in 2012…
July 10:
purchased from
DC0DA my 2nd 24GHz Transverter. Ready to go with 35mW Pout:
9, 3cm and 24GHz antenna (DD7PC, JN49ax)
May 09:
my small
experimental setup on 24GHz: Andrew
dish 32cm, 35dB with DB6NT MKU24GA+LO Transverter, 0.2mW SSB, ~8db
NF DSB (since August with OE9PMJ Filter, so now ~3.5db NF)
Motivated from
the good result of DH1VY using an equal small setup (www.dh1vy.de/22885.html), i tried my
1st steps on 24GHz in the July 2009 Microwave contest from the QTH of
my brother in Flensburg. I was very happy to hear OZ1ALS in CW 539
(unfortunately nil from my side).
2m, 3cm + 24GHz in July contest at JO44QS80
