Membership

The Board of Directors of the DCARA, consisting of the current Officers and Charter members, has voted to merger with the Mid-Atlantic Amateur Radio Club in 2012 for the mutual benefit of all Amateur Radio operators in the Delaware Valley.  Current members of the DCARA in good standing are to have the balance of their dues refunded.

In Memoriam W3PWG

Rolland Madara W3PWG (SK 1911-2010) was a staunch support of the DCARA and was given the accolade of Member Emeritus.  Known as "Rollie" to his many friends in Amateur Radio, he had been licensed for 57 years, a member of Navy MARS for 46 years and Army MARS for 51 years. For more than 25 years, he was an operator at the Franklin Institute Science Museum's Amateur Radio exhibit W3TKQ/W3AA.  Rollie served 24 years in the U.S. Navy, followed by employment with RCA and GE until his retirement in 1972.

Merrill Mirman KT3Z is an enduring supporter of the DCARA and is presented with the accolade of Member Emeritus.
