The Sarasota DARN Operations site is located in the Catholic Charities District I
office on Tamiami Trail, not far from University Blvd. This is a brand new
building that consolidates three former Catholic Charities locations. DARN Sarasota is the
first DARN Operations site that includes High Frequency (HF) communications capabiliity
in addition to the traditional UHF/VHF capabilities. DARN Sarasota equiment includes:
