Expedition to the country of the
1001 Nights
In September of 1999, ending a old dream, we go to the North of Africa, to meet the Arabic Civilization. We have carry a Icom 706 rig with all bands.
We have made more then 6000 Km with different kinds of transportation, off road, on the Merzouga dunes, in Sahara Desert, in the Paris-Dakar pists on Desert, and in the big old citys, capitals of very old Arabic Civilizations and Impires. For the first time, we decline the Ham activity, to start a trip in the 1001 Nights ... no QSO´s at all ... hi hi
