Who am I
I´m 26 years old and work as a Biomedical Equipment's Service Engineer at a company established in Lisbon. My hobbies are Radio Hamming, Computers and of course the Internet, I operate my Class B station from a small city about 10 Km west of Lisbon.
I´m a licensed operator since 1991 that started out with a Alinco DJ-160E handheld radio and moved out to a FT-840 HF transceiver and the good old 4 band inverted V dipole for 10,15,20 and 40 Meters. Later i´ve added a FT-480R and a FT-780R. With my handheld i have started to experiment Paket Radio with a 386 computer and Baycom software. The modem was...and still is the old TCM 3105 based system Baycom modem. I like to experiment but packet is just not my favorite thing. It´s not usual for me to just sit around and talk because what a like to do is to experiment with others and sometimes is very hard to get other colleges timetables match mines. That´s life...
I am now starting out with ATV and on this pages will find some info about ATV, remember, I´m just starting out so don´t laugh at my great achievements !
All information and cooperation is apreciated and if possible be added to this pages as soon as possible. I´ve learned a great deal with the information that is now on the internet and i want give my small contribution to all that, as myself have some dificulties adventuring the big world of experimenting all the different modes, SSTV, PACKET, ATV and all the others.
