in Goa India Former Portuguese Colony, always very active in CW was the last
Portuguese Radioamateur to leave GOA on 24-10-1962 - Active again AS VU3LCA
from 24-03-2004 UP TO 15-04-2004.
CT1CTZ-Started again in 1963 as
CR5LC later on S93LC in S. Tome & Principe former Portuguese Colony West
Africa.

1952 as Wireless Operator in General Telegraph Post Office at Panjim,GOA India
former Portuguese Colony.
1955-Joined Civil Aviation as
Radio Officer at Dabolim Airport Goa.
1962
-CT1CTZ As Portuguese left India for Portugal permanently.
1963- CT1CTZ Posted to S.Tomé
& Principe as Radio Officer, subsequently,Senior,Supervisor
Telecomunications In-Charge also (ATC)Duty Air Traffic Controller.
1975-After Independence of
S.Tomé & Principe callsign CR5LC changed into S92LC,still active due to
frequent visits. S.Tome Principe, are two sister islands, an independent
country since 1975,located in Equatorial zone of GuineaGulf NE-SW alignment,
main island is S. TOMÉ which is 249NM away from the meridian, 174NM following
the west African Coast parallel, while Príncipe is just 93NM from her larger
sister.The local people are quite friendly,whose warm hospitality CT1CTZ
enjoyed for more than 14 years; So, all the wonderful memories should always be
cherished.
1975-After Independence of
S.Tomé & Principe,by request of local and Portuguese Governments CT1CTZ,
remains as cooperant for another three years training and helping in diferent
ways the new born Young Nation. In DEC 1978 CT1CTZ returned back home and
joined the Civil Aviation in Portugal at Lisbon Airport.
1990 CT1CTZ Retired.
Soon after retirement became a
member of St.Vincent Paul Society as voluntary,homesupport for poors,
prisioners, abandoned People & children etc.
CT1CTZ belongs also to St.
Vincent Paul Society Nossa Senhora de Ajuda Conference, former Vice-President
of Diocisean Council of St. Vincent Paul Society at West Lisbon zone.
CT1CTZ-Doing also voluntary
social work, since 1991, in Egas Moniz Hospital at Lisbon.
