FOD-INIT 1.1 by CN8HB

FOD-INIT.EXE was written initially to provide a better way to write the
FODTRACK.CMD file from within the Windows 3.1 /3.11 environnement without
calling any DOS commands (bat files, etc...).

Used alone, FOD-Init will provide a simple way to Start FODTRACK from Windows
and select a Satellite to track. FOD-Init.exe can be launched with a
command string e.g. : FOD-INIT.EXE KO-25 to track KO-25 with Fodtrack.

FOD-INIT.EXE will work from any directory provided that the main program
FODTRACK.EXE is co-located in the same directory. SATLIST.DAT file must be
copied into this directory.

The SatList file contains the current satellite names used by FOD-INIT.
You may edit this file if you wish to add or remove any satellite name.
(all entries must be UPPERCASE !!)

The FODTRACK.PIF must be installed together with FODTRACK.EXE

Following is my own setup:

C:\FODTRACK\FODTRACK.EXE
	     \FODTRACK.FRC
	     \FODTRACK.CFG

	     \FOD-INIT.EXE
	     \FODTRACK.PIF
	     \FODTRACK.CMD
	     \SATLIST.DAT

Should you use a different setup, you will have to modify the PATH in the
FODTRACK.PIF file (use PIFEDIT to do so). Remember, the PIF file is mandatory
to allow the for operation of FODTRACK in the background.

This utility was created using Visual Basic 3. Therefore VBRUN300.DLL must be
present into the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.

NOTE: VBRUN300.DLL is not included here since it is widely distributed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Install the two remaining files: TOOLBUTN.VBX and THREED.VBX preferably into
the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory as well. (Alternatively, they may be copied into
the same directory than FOD-Init.exe)

When everything is installed, you can call FOD-INIT in 2 different ways:

FOD-INIT alone and you will be prompted for options.

or FOD-INIT KO-23 (or any sat name beware of letter case !!)

This last command can be executed from an Event Schedule instruction
in GSC and will change the FODTRACK.CMD accordingly.

To Set a schedule event up, in GSC select SETUP / SCHEDULE EVENTS
then enter a name for that event. (eg. KO-25)
Name : Fod KO-25
Program : C:\FODTRACK\FOD-INIT.EXE KO-25 (directory called FODTRACK and KO-25)
Time : to your discretion - I use 150 seconds
Associate : Single Satellite
Satellite : KO-25 (in this example)

You may also install the PGM into a group of your Program Manager. Use
the File / New / Program / Browse commands ...

I hope I forgot nothing here !!!

73's from sunny Morocco and have fun !!!
