The Columbia - Montour Amateur Radio
Club has been serving the Berwick, Bloomsburg, Danville region for over 25
years. The club's main purpose is to form a fellowship of Amateur Radio
Operators for the betterment of the hobby. Train new operators just coming into
the hobby, provide emergency communications for the general public and Columbia
and Montour Counties.
We are an
American
Radio Relay League Special Service Club and are affiliated with the
ARRL.
While Amateur Radio is a fun
hobby, please take the time to review some of CMARC's upcoming events. Public
service is also a big part of the Amateur Radio Service.
- Next Meeting January 13 at 7:30pm. This meeting will be a regular
club meeting.
- CMARC is sponsoring a 4-H club in Amateur Radio. . Meetings will be held at the Shiloe Church once the school year slows or ends. If you know of someone interested between the ages of 9 and 17 please come to our meetings. For more information call 784-6660.
- First Tuesday of each month, Check into our Swap Net at 7pm on 147.225 PL of 203.5. Plus check into our web site Swap Page below and check what is on our list.
- On June 14, 2003 CMARC sponsored the EPA SECTION CONVENTION in Bloomsburg. There were be guest speakers, VEC License testing, and of course, sellers. The turnout was not as good as last years, but still tons of fun for those who attended.

Our club meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM, at the Shiloh Bible Church Basement on Church Street in Almedia, just off Old Berwick Road. The meetings are open to the public.
