Installation instructions:

1. Ui-View32 vers 2.03 must be installed and registered on the
	Target machine.

2. PMap Streets and Traveler 7.0 must be installed and Registered on
    	the Target Machine.

3. Shut down Ui-View32 and any other non-essential programs.

4. REBOOT your machine if Ui-View or PMap has been run since the last reboot.
Better yet, just REBOOT before beginning the install!

If you have Windows automatically start Ui-View32
after a restart please disable this feature before
	proceeding with the install.

5. Open the PMapServer70x.zip file:
If you are using WinZip or a similar program, double click on
	Setup.exe to begin the install.

If you are using the default windows unzip utility, extract
the contents of th zip file to a directory of your choosing
and then run setup.exe from that directory.

6. Follow the installer instructions. It is strongly recommended
you use the default paths to install PMapServer7.

7. Please read all information displayed by the installer.

8. When prompted to launch the application, please do so.

After the install:
1. Run Ui-View32

2. Select Map, LoadMap from the main menu.

3. Select Precision Mapping V7 Server from the list.

4. Follow the prompts to select data directories etc.
If you used the default install for PMap Streets
and Traveler 7.0 Ui-View will display the open
file dialog with this directory selected. Just
open it, and all directories will be set
    	automatically.

// Following options required if you use UI-NWS,
// NWSGet, or PMap Underlays:

5. Select Map, Control panel in Ui-View32.

6. Set Options, White Background checked.

7. Set Options, Shade MCD, Shade PLaces, Shade Counties, Shade States off

Note: Your C:\Program Files\Peak Systems\PMapServer7\PMap Underlays\
directory will be empty. You need to put some underlay files in it etc.
If you are using NWSGet, set the NWSGet target directory to
C:\Program Files\Peak Systems\PMapServer7\PMap Underlays.
In this Beta version, all underlays are expected to have a white
background. This may change in a future version to use the color
found at the lower left corner of the underlay as the
transparent color.

8. If desired, Select Underlays, Load Underlay and one of your underlays.
Note: Only one Underlay can be selected at a time.
You can clear Underlays from the map by unchecking
		the selected Underlay.

9. Close the control panel

Notes:

One command in Ui-View has changed with PMapServer7. Previously,
<ctrl> A caused the map to zoom to show the USA. In PMapServer7 it now
zooms to show the entire world.

The behaviour observed when loading an underlay has changed. Previous
versions of PMapServer automatically zoomed the map to show the entire
underlay. PMapServer7 does not automatically zoom to the underlay
extents. You can manually zoom to the underlay extents after exiting
the control panel by selecting Zoom Underlay from the Ui-View32 Map
menu selection.

If you do not see local streets and highways in USA or Canada
when you zoom in :
The Ui-view32 PMap Data directories are not set properly.
Use Control Panel, Options, and Easy Setup to configure.
When all else fails, hit F1 and read the help file

The PMap7 world map only contains cities, no streets or roads.
