Robert Gregory

I have been an amateur radio operator for over 65 years with the WB1 called for over 40 years. I live in Peachtree City, Georgia in a independent living facility. My YL of 65 years went to be with the Lord six months ago. We moved to Peachtree city three years ago from New Bern, North Carolina. I teach Sunday School at Evergreen Presbyterian Church. We have a class named “Maturing Together” for people over 65 and up to 93 years old. My favorite scripture is Romans 8: 1-2 which says" therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. "I joined the ARMS net in 2016 when I stumbled upon the net by accident. I'm not sure that the stumble was not part of God's plan. I have been licensed since 1955 and held previous calls K8SHG and WB2PIY. Due to a tremor I can no longer do CW so am limited to Phone.

My station consists of H F: lcom 746pro, a Meritrona l-811h, Buddypole 20 Meter vertical VHF: APRS and 3 HTs for 2 Meter and 440 and I am a VE With 60 years with towers and beams and now limited to a portable vertical. Seems like a letdown but I am blessed to be on the air. Professionally I was a Consulting Chemical engineer in polymers & elastomers and I am a member of Evergreen Presbyterian Church. At age 87 I look forward to being with the Lord and my YL shortly. I invite any of you who travel to Atlanta to call me at 678-261-0741.
