From
the President's Desk:
Greetings
to all members of ARMS. In previous issues I
have indicated my gratitude for those who are
faithfully serving our organization. In this
issue I want to thank one person in particular who
has not been previously recognized. Many, if
not all of you, have received birthday greetings
from me over the last number of years. The
truth is that Frank Brodale, AG0M, has been the one
who has sent these greetings in my name. He
keeps a list of all ARMS members' birthdays, and not
only sends the greetings, but announces the
birthdays on the net so that we are all aware of
them. Frank is also very helpful with relays
on the transcontinental net, and joins Dean
Albertsen, K0TVJ, in assuming net control on
Saturdays when I cannot be there. Many thanks,
Frank, for all that you do for ARMS. Members
of the Midwest section, in which Frank is active,
continue to set up ARMS displays at ham fests,
making us known to those who attend them. My
thanks to all who are keeping ARMS alive and well.
Gerry
Brunk, K4RBZ
