Dear Amateur Radio Enthusiasts,

Saturday is fast approaching.  Lots of your
HAM friends are going to the MARA-thon 2001 Hamfest 
May 5th. It is an Amateur Radio, computer,
and electronic swap-meet / flea market 
extravaganza.  It is being hosted by The 
Alaska Army National Guard on Bogard Road
at the Seward Meridian in Wasilla just north
of Wal-Mart.  Open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

This years main door prize is an Icom IC-T2H 
two meter handy-talkie.  We have plans for all
the great activities you've enjoyed in the past
including license testing, demonstrations, food,
and maybe a LEO luncheon.

Plan on being there if for no other reason than
to visit and see how your friends have aged.  
Above all, plan on having fun!
