AMATEUR
RADIO or HAM RADIO
Compiled by AP2HA
Amateur Radio or Ham Radio is a very interesting hobby.
It has something fun for everyone. Peoples from all walks
of life enjoy this hobby by using two-way radio stations
from their homes, cars and outdoors. Amateurs communicate
for service organisations during emergencies including
Hurricanes, Earthquakes, Fires, Rescues etc. Radio
Amateurs use voice and CW ( morse code ) for two way
communication. Some Hams also use computers to operate
different digital modes like RTTY, AMTOR, PACKET, PSK31
and SSTV etc. They exchange their QSLs after the
contacts. If you have any question about this hobby,
please feel free to email me.
