Switching @ AE9B

N0TT Remote Beverage Switching  The eight switch selector is a relay switching system that was designed by N0TT at my request. It works to switch 2 bidirectional beverage antennas, 2 single direction beverages, a K9AY loop and the transmit vertical. It was designed to allow me to select any of the antenna systems and listen to them on the input of the RCV antenna jack on the 1000MP

Autek SWR/Watt Meter This is my favorite SWR meter. The big display is easy to read and the remote pick-up allows the unit to sit easily on a flat surface without the stress of coax at the back. Large bold lettering is easy to read and the lighted background is good in low light conditions. There are three level 20, 200 and 2kW.

Preamp

This preamp on the left was built for me by W0BR to the schematic provided by W8JI. I use it for my beverage system when I need a little extra pickup during real quiet times. I believe it has 14dB of amplification. It has an On/Off Switch which lights and LED.

K9AY Switch

The K9AY Switch on the right is a commercial switch I purchased through Array Solutions (A vendor for K9AY) The switch allows me to select one of four positions of my K9AY system array. It is just another listening antenna which gives me a variety of listening directions.

Dunestar 600

The Dunestar 600 is a bandpass filter which allows for multiple transceivers to operate in the same environment without interference. I found it necessary to purchase two when I began operating with multiple radios at my home. NW0L made the device which takes the band data from the 1000MP radio and provides the right signal to select the correct bandpass filter within the Dunestar 600.
