Under Settings Tab In WinAPRS
   
Master Mode = Normal Ham Operation


General Display Settings = (Check) Enable Buttons In Map Window
			   (Check) English Units


Station Settings = Callsign = Enter Your Call


		   Validation# = Enter Val # If You Are Registered (if You
                   Are Not Registered Leave Blank, The Only Thing Is, That
                   Every Thing You Put In Won't Be Saved After You Shut The
                   Program Down (Bummer) 

		   State = Two Letter Of Your State


		   County = County That You Live In


		   City = City That You Live In


      Enter Your   Latitude = 38   2   39 (Check) N for Northern Lat.


      Enter Your   Longitude = 84  42   56 (Check) W For Western Lon.


		   UTC OffSet = -5 Or -4 Depending On Time Of Year This Area


		   Station Icon = (- House QTH)(& GateWay)(# Wide Digi)


                   Power = The Power Of Your APRS Station


		   Antenna Height = Height Of Your APRS Antenna


                   Antenna Gain = Gain Of Your APRS Antenna


		   Direcitivity = 0 For Omni Directional Antenna


APRS		   Posit Comments = Anything You Want To Put In About Posit


		   Status Text = Anything You Want To Put In About Status


		   Status Text = Echos Whatever You Put In Status Text Line


Tracking Options   (Check) Auto Track Moving Stations To Track Mobiles


		   # Of Points To Save 500 (Default)


                   Track Delta [Secs] 10 (Default)
		   
		   Alarm Delta [Secs] 30 (Default)


		   Station Time Out = Whatever Time Limit You Want
		   
		   Special Event = Leave Blank


		   Warning Radius = Any Radius That You Want


		   Danger Radius = Any Radius That You Want 


Automatic Logging  These Can Be Set If You Want To Capture The Info To Your                     
                   Hard Drive For Reference At A Later Time


		   Station Logging


		   APRS Logging


		   NMEA Logging


		   Weather Logging


		   Message Logging


		   RDF Logging


		   Stats Logging


Automatic Input = If You Are A Registered User, This Option Will                               
                  Automatically Turn On The Section That You Have Checked


		  HF [Dual] TNC (Kantronics Kam)


		  VHF TNC  (Kantronics KPC-3)


		  Weather  (If You Have A Weather Station Interfaced)


		  GPS / NMEA  (If You Have A GPS With Your APRS Station)


Min Font Size = 12 Default  (Works Good For Me, So I Have Never Changed It)


If You Want To See All Stations That Are Using Macs or Windows APRS Check 
The Following Blocks, If Not Leave Blank


		  Auto Flag Macs


		  Auto Flag Windows


Serial Port Settings = Setup Your Comm Ports That You Are Using 
                       TNC VHF, TNC Dual Port, GPS, Weather,


		  Port Number = Whatever Port The Item Is Hooked To (TNC)


		  Speed	= Whatever The Speed Of The HandShaking Between The                    
                  Item And The Computer (4800) for a TNC (Less Problems)


		  Data Bits = 8 (default)


		  Stop Bits = 1 (default)


		  Parity = None (default)


Select TNC TYPE = Not to Worry Much Here, It Gets The Info For The Program By                   
                  The InitXXX.tnc File that you have In The Root Directory Of                   
                  WinAPRS. I Think Mine Shows Up As A Single TNC On VHF                        
                  Eventhough I Am Running A Dual Port Kam+ With HF and VHF                     
                  Never Has Been A Problem. Runs Fine Anyway


TNC Settings =	  Unproto APRSM via (What Ever You Set Your Path As)
                  Dual Port Kams Should Be (GATE,WIDE/APRSW VIA WIDE3-3)
                  KPC-3 Should Be (WIDE3-3)Or(RELAY,WIDE3-3) If You Can't See
                  A Wide DIGI. It Can Also Be Call Specific Example.
                  (KF4INN-10,KE4TCO,K4DMU-10) 


Gateway =         I Have No Ideal What This Block Is For (Doesn't Seem To                   
                  Work With Any Thing That I Have Tried)


CMD 1 - 10	  Depends On What TNC Choice You Pick On The Right


TNC Type =        Receive Only
                  Single Port (Kantronics KPC-3) VHF
                  Dual Port   (Kantronics Kam or Kam+) HF & VHF
                  Two Ports  Only If You Have Two Different TNCs and Radios  


                  Press The TNC Type That You Are Going To Use It Should Fill
                  In The Cmds To The Left
                  AEA	KAN   MFJ   Pico   Kenwood DC


                  If You Are Running The Following, Check What Ever Applies                    
                  GPS on VHF
                  GPS on HF
                  Pico VHF
                  Pico HF


                  P1 (HF) Switch ~A (Default If You Are Running Dual Port)
                  P2 (VHF)Switch |A (Default If You Are Running Dual Port)


                  Msg Retries 5 is Default But You Can Go Higher If Needed
