Radio waves have certain properties that we need to understand.
We represent them like waves on the sea to help us visualize them.
The distance from the crest of one wave to the next is called the wavelength.
It is measured using metric units, usually meters. If we stood in
one place and counted the number of crests that passed us in one second,
that would be the frequency, measured in Hertz. 1 Hz would be 1 wave
passing by each second.
