I searched the new Pro2 schematics and must say, that the receiving path has been much improved.
The 11 filters have been separated, the 5 bands 1.6 - 8 MHz are now on an extra board and the pin-diodes are Motorola MMBV-3700. I dont know how much better they are than the 1SV263/265 - could not find any data on the web - but Icom should know.
There are now two more double-FET amplifiers instead of single-FETs; the mixers are the same as in the Pro. It could be that the spectrum scope has now reduced IM-products too.
The NB-gate is adjustable via Menu to reduce the distortion from nearby strong stations.
The complete set of information is on the FCC ID page.
I hope to have much better Receiver-IMD on the Pro2, because here in Europe there was a lot of IMD3 on 7 MHz and 10 MHz.
