Start date:

Saturday, October 7, 2006.

Registration at 8:30am.

Lessons will start at 9 am sharp.

Lessons end at 12:30pm.

End date:

Saturday, November 11, 2006 is the last lesson.

Saturday, November 18, 2006 is the Industry Canada exam date.

Location description:

North Shore Emergency Management Office (NSEMO) - 2nd floor, 147 East 14th Street, North Vancouver, BC V7L 2N4 (East end of RCMP building). Click for map.

Note: Do not park on E. 14th Street (only one hour parking). Free parking is available on surrounding streets (check the signs!). Pay parking at the DPS/Safeway parking lot at the corner of 13th and Lonsdale ($4 all day at the meter if arriving prior to 9 am), or Lions Gate Hospital.

Registration & Cost:

Register in person at the North Shore Amateur Radio Club, Saturday, October 7 at 8:30am, at the NSEMO location.

Ten students are required to make the course a “go”. Please e-mail your intent to register, or your pre-registration, by 23 Sept 2006, to John White, Chief Instructor (see below).

Fee: Non-Club members $85. Club members $70. Cash or cheque only.

Materials:

1. Course fee includes the Kolody Advanced Study Notes and the Industry Canada Question Bank complete with answers, all PowerPoint lessons plus other related amateur handouts.

3. Click here to download the Basic Course lessons (also password-protected) for use in support of the Advanced course.
