ZF2CJ was operated for 2017/3/19-24 with 4,500+ QSO results
most of them by RTTY.
VP5 was cancelled as VP5JM shack owner Jody changed her policy
not to rent the station to new DX'ers. So thanks to Mr. Andrew Eden,
ZF1EJ, this time I only rented ZF1A club shack.
There are several DXpeditions convined with contests but
RTTY operation is rare. Why? Most operators just like CW mode
or they don't understand how to RTTY with logging software.
In recent DX peditions, RTTY is always started later and causing
a lot of confusion. They should start RTTY in the early stage
of DXpedition. Also all operators should be able to QRV RTTY
and QSY from CW/SSB when band condition gets better.
RTTY is very easy with N1MM logger, Logger32 and others.
Please just connect TRCV audio with any interface and use USB
com software as well. Unfortunately, most of local stations are
not so interested in RTTY even there is occasional QRV.
My DXpedition policy is to offer new entitiy to small stations.
I suppose DXing is too much dominated by big guns especially
in JA with big Ant and high power. In this DXpedition, I will
pick up from weak station as possible. So please QRP, big guns. Hi

email me for possible SKED. I will reply with SKED info as much
as I can.
This will be one man DXpedition but I will try to QRV as long as
possible. There are so many holiday style DX vacation to the
Caribbean, but in my policy there should be no holiday style in
rare entitiy. If you have chance to QRV from rare entitiy such
as the Caribbean, you need to QRV as long as possible.. no QRX,
no beach, no diving. no cooktail...just QRV RTTY as long as
band is open for JA/AS/EU. So I will try for total 10K QSO with
RTTY and CW from these entities, hopefully 1 week for each.
CW is an alternative mode and will be tried for low bands 30-40-80m
where RTTY is not so efficient.
I will rent nice stations, VP5JM, 6Y5WJ and ZF2EJ, all FB rental
shack stations with big Ant. I will bring my TRCV 200W + 500W PA
for RTTY system with 2PCs. To work RTTY pile-up efficiently, 2PCs
are necessary...one for logging and sending, one for decoding with
TrueTTY. I believe TruTTY is the best software for high resolution
decoding but there is no universal logging software to link with.
Recently many DXpeditions were arranged to use well located cottages
and Spider beam or Step vertical. But it's difficult to receive little
pistol signals from JA/AS and most QSOs are dominated by big guns.
So I would recommend peditioners to rent such nice rental shacks with
big Ant.
For QSLing, I will upload all QSOs to Clublog when internet is available.
Also LoTW and eQSL will be uploaded just after the DXpedition.

Please relax, if you read this message and I will go there, we will
eventually have QSO anyway. I believe DXing is just a hobby and in
the internet era like now it's not the case risking your job, family,
friends or life. You can even contact by Skype, Face time, etc.with
any location with internet connection. So the meaning of DXing is
getting more and more unclear.
Next target will be 6Y5 with AB2RF/6Y5 from 6Y5WJ, Josh's location.
But this may be in 2020-2021 when the next solar cycle 25 will start.
