1.To establish an Internet WEB Page at QSL.NET:

  a. A 3.5 Disc of your WEB Page Files

       

  b.  WS-FTP LE installed on your Desktop

        A free copy of WS-FTP LE can be downloaded from: www.ipswitch.com/

        A copy of Instructions on setting up WS_FTP LE  can be copied at:

          www.qsl.net/kb9lpj/ftp/ftp.html

  c. WEB Page Site address for your WEB Page

        The Creation of your WEB Page at WWW.QSL.net/ and PW is accomplished by filling out

        the Form at: www.qsl.net/signup

 

2. Copying the WEB Page Disc Files to your WEBPAGE Folder:

   a. Make a New Folder in your PROGRAM FILES called WEBPAGE

   b. Copy your WEBPAGE INDEX.HTM File from your 3.5 Disc, with any other: .gif .jpg .BMP

      .au .wav .html Files, to the WEB Page Folder.

 

3. Download and Setup  WS_FTP LE to your Desktop

   a. Download WS_FTP LE to Desktop from www.ipswitch.com/

   b. Click on WS_FTP LE

      General: type:

         Profile name: qsl.net

         Host: ftp.qsl.net

         User ID: your CALL

         Password: your PW is provided by QSL.NET

      Startup: type:

         Remote Folder: your CALL

         Local Folder: c:\program files\webpage

        Click OK

      In the Local System Window: type: c:\program files\webpage

       Click EXIT

Note Step 3.b. is done only on initial Setup.

 

4. Aquire a WEB Site address from QSL.NET:

   a. Connect to Internet

   b. Go to www.qsl.net/signup.html

   c. Fill out the Form

Note: QSL.NET will Email you a PW and create your WEB Site: www.qsl.net/ "your CALL" 

      At your WEB Site, you will see a message: Future Site of "Your Call"

 

5. Transferring your WEB Page Files with WS_FTP LE to your WEB Page:

   a. Connect to Internet

   b. Click on WS_FTP LE

   c. Click OK on Session Properties

   d. In the Local System Window , under name, Click on File(s) to be Uploaded

   e. Click on Arrow, pointing to Remote Site Files Window

        The Remote Site Window will go Blank and then will update with the new File you

        Uploaded.

   f. Click Exit
