The station started the contest on 40m band for about 3 hours, then it was switched

to 20m for another 3 hours, after that worked on 15m for nearly 5 hours and switched

back to 20m for 2 hours and finally went back again to 40m after the sunset.

In the second day the station was already on 40m for the whole night and working

some multipliers in other bands at the same time until the sunshine, then switched

to 20m again to work another 3 hours, then 15m for about one hour to have good news

that 10m band is open and we changed to 10m to work some beautiful stations and

receiving very strong signals from others, the good news that 10m was active for about

4 hours in A7, then switched back to 15m, 20m and 40m after the sunset.

After analyzing the results of the contest ( thanks to K5GN ) I found that the most active 3 hours were in the

first day while working on 20m and 15m, during this 3 hours we made about 527 QSO's,

the highest number of QSO's was on 20m band ( 1307 QSO's ) during the contest.

The station record on 80m, 40m, 20m and 15m during the first day of the contest was

higher than the second day specially on 80m and 40m bands except 10m band which

surprised us in the next day of the contest to have a good and better working conditions

than the first day and allow us to make 287 QSO's. Because of that, the station wasn't

active for enough time on 20m in the second day.

After the sunset in the second day the station ability to make the contacts drop strongly

and the station found some difficulties to make QSO's on bands, maybe it was the

propagation and under some conditions which make the contacts to be more difficult,

the station run under high power and we were calling split to make some contacts on

40m with North America but we found that they could here us calling and there signals

were non-readable in our side.

On 15m the station contacted 125 countries, 124 countries on 20m and 103 countries

on 40m, number of QSO's is 2647 and scored 6,295,700 in the contest.

It was a big fun in 44 hrs. A71EM, is the one who suggested as he promised me long

time ago to be active ( in any coming or next contest ) and it was CQ WW SSB contest,

so he suggested to be active as Multi Operators and Single station. We started to prepare

the station a week before the contest, Dave ( K5GN ) and Hank ( KI4MF ) were invited to

operate the station as a group, A71EM got a new Alpha Delta Sloper and K5GN assisted

us to install the antenna on A71EM tower and the antenna works fine. So the station operated

about 48 hours on all the bands, as I said 10m band was a big surprise in the next day of the

contest and signals were very strong from YB, some Asian stations and the European stations,

special thanks to 9K2HN who made a contacts in all the bands with us in this contest.

Finally CQ WW DX SSB Contest was the best contest for A71BX because of the group that

were active, so a big thanks for all and I hope to be active with the same group in any

coming contests ( A71EM, K5GN and KI4MF ) thanks a lot and God bless you all.
