Donji
Miholjac is small town (7 000 people), on north - east part of Croatia.
Three km south form Hungarian (HA) border, and 50 km north - west from
Osijek,
capital city of Osijek - Baranja county. Donji Miholjac is settled on the
river Drava. Our town is not old, but have some interesting place. This picture
shows very lovely castle in D.Miholjac from 19 century. This castle is orbed
with a big park with diferent plants. Except castle, 10 years ago D.Miholjac
was known for hunting tourism and pond (fishing), but these 90 % ponds today
are not used for fishing, because it became protected ornithological area,
so I hope that hunting tourism will also become something else...enjoying
of nice nature with various plant and animal species.
My
interests: I love radio hobby, DXing, and I use every leisure
time for this hobby. I love to work on short wawe on CW and SSB, and my favorite
frequency is 7 mhz, though you can hear me on the other freqs' too. Every contact
with every DXCC countries (especially new for me) makes me really happy (I dont
have many certified DXCC country), and I am IOTA colector. Except short wave,
I love "walking" araund the world with packet radio. Except radio hobby, I love
sport playing and watching. Soccer and basketbool are my favorite. I love lisen
rock'n'roll music, and I love work on my computer. In last 10 years many QSL
card I was get directly and nice stamps on the envelopes motivated me to become
a stamp collector.
I
am member of 9A1CCJ radio club, and 9A8M contest team. Best result of
our contest team is thirth place on ARRL contest in 1990. In our club we have
TS-430s, TS-820s for short wave, and TS-811, TR-9000 for USW. In the yard of
our radio club we have 25 m high stake with TH6DXX for 14, 21 and 28 mhz, and
for 7 and 3,5 mhz we have wire antennas. In 1999. we have a plan to make 2 el.
BEAM full size for 7 mhz.Our contest location is 80m high silos in Donji MIholjac.

I get C class, and commenced members of 9A1CCJ radio - club in my city. 1991.
I was upgrade my class in B, and 1995. in A class (A class is maximum in Croatia).
1995. I was get my callsign 9A4NS.
I
am living in
Donji
Miholjac where is my family, but since1993, I live in
Osijek,
capital city of Slavonija and Baranja province, like a roomer, were I study
economic. Today, I am at
end of my study, and I wish to stay in Osijek. Donji Miholjac is a nice town,
but
Osijek is much,
much biger and gives better prospects for live.
