This was our first serious contest that we attended. The IOTA 2002 contest we worked from the Krk island (EU-136) in a small village called Sveti Ivan near the town of Malinska. In our team there were 3 Croatians and 7 Austrians.

Members of IOTA2002 team were: Vadimir Pavlica (9A9R), Emir Memic - Braco (OE1EMS), Dieter Kritzer (OE8KDK), Stefan Kaiser (OE8SKQ), Walter Worischek (OE1WWA), Werner (OE2WPO), Juraj Pavlica (9A6PPJ), Senka Pavlica, Gottfried (OE8GBK), Heimo (OE8MHQ).

After all we took 3rd place in multi operator category with 9,483,179 points, 2625 QSOs and 509 multipliers and we won the Geoff Watts Memorial trophy.

Entire antenna setup, radio statinos and computers were brougt and installed before contest and after it they were dismantled and driven away. Our category was permanent island station because of the international airport(on the island) and the bridge to mainland.
Unfortunately we'r not able to present you a picture of the Geoff Watts Memorial trophy because we haven't recieved it yet.
