Surplus X'tals for Homebrew

安く出回っているジャンクの水晶発振子のなかにはトランシーバの自作にその まま使えるものがたくさんあります。日本では秋葉原・日本橋のジャンク屋さんや、 CQ誌の広告の池田電子などで入手できます。大抵はひとつ 100円位です。 super VXOを使えば可変範囲は結構広くとれま す。
There are various cheap surplus X'tals on the market. Some of them are suitable for homebrew transceivers. X'tals of following frequencies are sold at very low prices in Japan. Some of them may be available also in other countries, for example, Dan's Small Parts and other shops in US. Super VXO offers you a large frequency pulling.

これらの水晶発振子でCW/DSBダイレクト・コンバージョン方式トランシーバのVXOが作れ ます。 下の構成図を参考にして下さい。
With these X'tals, you can build VXO's for direct conversion transceivers of CW and Double Side Band modes. Refer to following example block diagrams.

(1)これらの水晶発振子でスーパーヘテロダイン方式トランシーバのVXO式局部 発振器が作れます。
(2)これらの水晶発振子でスーパーヘテロダイン方式CW/SSBトランシーバのBFO や搬送波発振器、ラダー型クリスタルフィルターが作れます。 6 MHzより低い周波数の水晶発振子はSSB用クリスタ ルフィルターには 適しません。
(3)局部発振器の水晶発振子によっては一概には言えませんが、 この周波数から低い方におよそ 50 - 100 kHz 周波数を変化させることができます。
(4)この組合せはスプリアスがIFに入るのであまりお勧めしません。

下の構成図を参考にして下さい。
(1)With these X'tals, you can build VXO local oscillators for superheterodyne transceivers.
(2)With these X'tals, you can build BFO's, carrier oscillators and ladder X'tal filters for CW/SSB superheterodyne transceivers. X'tals with frequency less than 6 MHz are not suitable for the SSB filter.
(3)You can pull the frequency downwards by about 50 to 100 kHz depending on the X'tal used for the local oscillator.
(4)This combination is not recomended because of a spurious frequency into IF.
