The 4T6I operation is almost 100% coordinated using IRC on #IOTA2. If you are an IOTA chaser it is a great way to talk to other chasers, and get news before anyone else. There is also a channel called #DXSPOTS that gets real time packet cluster spots from DX Summit. These 2 channels are spinoffs of the extremely popular #CQDX channel setup by Doug, N6RT. To get to #IOTA2 go to http://dx.qsl.net/cqdx and set up just like you are going to #CQDX. Instead of joining #CQDX, join #IOTA2. You can do that by typing /join #iota2 . Or if you are familiar with IRC and have a program (like mIRC or Pirch) connect to a worldirc server and join #IOTA2. |
