Personel Info and Request of
this BURO Manager
So you've called up my rosters, took one look at them and threw
up your hands (OR your stomach) in disgust. A word of advice at
this moment: RELAX! Here is how you read these listings - just
sit down, take a breath/five minutes/one good stiff drink (your
choice, selecting more than one category is OK) and listen up!!
Because this is more of a *seasonal* bureau (PARTICULARLY as to
160 meters), the rosters have been designed to give you more of
a chance to get a station's QSL card, which is the major reason
behind this club. We will dispense with explaining the first of
the four columns (if you have to ask, turn in your license) and
let's go from here...
IN BUROS: An X means GOOD in the 40m/KB5IPQ or 75m/KD3FM buros!
If you are good in either or both of these bureaus and I do NOT
have you listed as such, OR if you have left them, get in touch
with me IMMEDIATELY and this information will be updated ASAP!!
This info is provided as a convenience/"last resort" in case of
those times you've sent several cards here and got nothing back
for your efforts, along with noting those few stations that are
*exclusive* to one of the three CC Net QSL bureaus (and PLEASE,
by all means, pay attention to those notations OR ASK ON NET if
a station has chosen to go with one manager only!!)
CHECKIN TO: Here is where you need to pay VERY close attention!
The first notation applies to 160 meters, while the next two in
line involve both CW nets. The FIRST entry is for the 40 METER
CW NET, the SECOND is for the 80 METER CW NET. Keep in mind: A
station may check in to one CW net but NOT the other; this part
of the listing is to give you an idea which one they are likely
to show up on. The last entry is for the 40 meter RTTY net - in
the event nets are *added* we will modify these as best we can!
FORMER CALLS/OTHER NOTES: This section is organized as follows:
All prior calls on first line, then any/all club offices or VIP
designations on the next line(s), with any *club station* notes
listed last. A caveat: The use of "Trustee" for a club station
means, in this context, the station(s) that HAVE CHECKED IN THE
CLUB CALL during a net and are therefore responsible for making
sure the QSLs are answered! This does NOT imply in ANY way that
they are the assigned trustee of/for the club's call, ONLY that
they are the person you *must* send your QSL to.
Please keep in mind: Previous club calls are listed separately
with the current club call - NOT with the trustee! If you have
worked a club that has changed its call, and you still have not
gotten a card for the prior callsign (and forgot which club had
the call), here you go.
Also, these rosters have been formatted at 60 lines per page so
as to allow printing on single sheets of paper. *If* you should
experience any layout problems, please let us know.
Finally, if you have ANY new information about your own or your
club's listing, get in touch with me or with any CC Net officer
and we will do our best to get the fresh data on and into these
rosters. A *big* thanks to Bill Nason/W5WJN for giving the time
and effort to see these get posted for you to use.
