Hello! My name is Richard, and I’m an amateur radio operator based in the far north-west Highlands of Scotland. I work as a window cleaner, often surrounded by some of the most breathtaking scenery the UK has to offer.

When I’m not on the ladders, you’ll find me at the radio—operating a Yaesu FT-897D at 100 watts into a DX Commander Classic antenna. I’m especially interested in HF operating and enjoy exploring propagation conditions across the bands.

Suilven Mountain
I live at the foot of this mountain – Suilven. The view is as good as the skip on a quiet HF evening!
