K8APD DOUG BROWN

A.P.D
A PERFECT DAY
I had the pleasure to meet Doug Brown WW2 veteran in 2004, when he came back to Weymouth commemorating 60th anniversary of D-DAY. I have also had the chance to speak to him on 15mtrs at his home QTH in Franklin West Virginia, Doug left Weymouth for the Omaha Beach D-DAY landings. More information can be found on the SDRS web site.

I also had the pleasure to meet Frank Brown Dougs nephew from California who came over with Doug as companion for the trip, which they also made to Europe and the beaches so they have had a very busy couple of weeks.
