A quick photo of my temporary VHF/UHF radio "stack" while having fun!

And the temporary HF+ stack

Workbench stack during mid June 2014

The late June 2014 version of the workbench stack

Yaesu FT-1000MP, main radio in ZS6DX shack at the moment but this will soon change as I have had a few problems with this radio and I must say the support from Yaesu has been VERY BAD !, they don't even reply to e-mail's! (Update 2014, this radio was sold for spare parts, I wasted enough time on it, was a real lemon!!)

Yaesu FT-990, I am using this radio as a general rag-chew radio and as a backup DX/Contest radio.

Kenwood TS-870S, main backup radio, the more I use it the more I like it, if it only had a dual RX !

Icom IC-756, I currently have 2 of these rigs, I believe the receiver is better than the PRO or the PROII, just check the ARRL lab tests if you do not believe me!

Yaesu FT-847 used mainly for 6m and satellite work and as HF backup, great RX on VHF/UHF!

Icom IC-746, great general HF/VHF rig with good, easy to use DSP!

Yaesu FT-890S, backup radio and used for portable work as it is very robust with a great tuner.

Trans World Electronics T1000 1kw solid state HF amplifier, this amp will run 1kw all day, it weighs 43kg!

Yaesu FL-7000 solid state HF amplifier with automatic tuner, great for band hopping!

Yaesu FL-2100Z amplifier used mostly 40m, not a heavy duty amp!

Heath (this was not a kit !) HL2200 Amplifier using 2 x 3-500Z tubes

Homebrew Amplifier using a 4-400 tube

Heathkit SB200 amplifier with 6m modification added, will run our legal limit on 6 with ease.

Icom IC-706MKII, mostly used mobile and for 6m.

Yaesu FT-767GX, used for general DX'ing, PSK31 and local chats, great audio! Retired to the museum.

Yaesu FT-107, great old radio mostly used for 40m local chats. Retired to the museum.

Kenwood TS-520S, great old rig with better receiver that a lot of new rigs! Retired to the museum.

Yaesu FT-200, all valve radio kept as collectors item and as a heater in winter. Retired to the museum.

Yaesu FT-707, sometimes used mobile or portable in the bush, very solid! Retired to the museum.

Yaesu FT-901DM, collectors item and still puts out a fine signal, has some of the best QRM/N fighting features of its time! Retired to the museum.

Yaesu YO-901 Station monitor with pan-adaptor, very useful tool! Retired to the museum.

Heathkit SB-102, great glow in the dark and keeps the shack warm in winter! Retired to the museum.

Kenwood TS-120S, used for local chats, soon collectors item! Retired to the museum.

Icom IC-471E, used for 70cm satellite and general work. Retired to the museum.

Yaesu FT-290R, 2m all mode used for hill-top DX'ing Retired to the museum.

Yaesu FT-227R 2m mobile set used in car because "if they want it they can take it!" Now retired to the museum.
