The 7P8DX expedition site is located on the mountain peak Mahlasela (3302m) at co-ordinates 28d 48m 40s S 28d 43m 17s E.

The ZS prefixes are all South African divisions, 3DA is Swaziland, A2 is Botswana and V5 is Namibia.

The red antenna is the home of ZS1ZL near Cape Town.
