"Log entries"

THE KERMADEC DX ASSOCIATION DXPEDITION TO CHATHAM ISLAND, ZL7C IN 2002.

LOG ENTRIES

A small number of DX stations are reporting incorrect Log entries for their call-signs.

There are strict Rules and Guide-lines to preserve the integrity of any Dxpedition Log. It is not possible to amend or change in any way the contents of the Log after the Dxpedition Operator has entered the Call-sign.
The Dxpedition Log Keeper, Wilbert, ZL2BSJ, closes the logs each day at approximately 1900z and then compiles and checks the Integrity of the composite log before it is securely zipped up and encrypted. The composite Log then remains fully encrypted during its transmission to the Log_Search Engine.

To help us minimize any further incorrect Call-signs, would you please kindly observe the following:-

1.During your QSO with the Dxpedition DO NOT "QSL" until you are 100% satisfied that the Operator has your Call-sign correct. The on-channel QRM can be "Unbelievable".

2.Please do wait for the Logs to be loaded into the Search Engine. We do identify in the Search Engine when the last Log Update has been completed. Then finally if you are still NOT in the LOG, please try again to QSO the Dxpedition...
