"Work the world with System Fusion" is available on Amazon, Kindle, and from the RSGB bookshop.
The book is a guide to Yaesu System Fusion (YSF) and the Yaesu Wires-X network. It will help you to become familiar with the complex terminology used by the YSF crowd, purchase and program a 'Fusion' radio, and make your first few calls. It also includes sections on how to configure and use a YSF hotspot, use a Fusion repeater, and access Wires-X 'rooms' and reflectors. The book takes a practical approach, providing the information you need to get started with this exciting digital voice technology. Before you know it, you will be able to talk with amateur radio operators all over the world.

Many of the examples in the book are based on my observations using the YSF radios that I own. There may be variations between the equipment that I am using and your equipment, and that may mean that some things mentioned in the book don't work or need a minor adjustment. But most of the information is generic and will apply to all YSF radios, hotspots, and services.

The book includes information about the Yaesu radios that I have purchased. The FT5D, FT-70D, and FTM-400XD. Other Yaesu handheld radios are similar. Hopefully, my procedures should cover most radios. But there might be some minor variations. The FT5D instructions should relate well to the FT3D, FT2D, and FT1D with descending levels of compatibility. I think that the FTM-300 is closer in design to the FT5D than it is to the FT-400XD, but sometimes the FT-400XD instructions may work better. The FT-70D and the FT-400XD seem to be less like earlier radios.
