AGWTracker

  • AGWTracker website.

  • SV2AGW Yahoogroup is an email reflector for discussing AGWPE.
  • SV2AGW's Facebook page describing his ham activities and software updates.
  • Sound Card Packet extensive AGWPE details.
  • UZ7HO soundcard TNC alternative to AGWPE. See also WA8LMF's website.
  • Online maps can be used if your computer is permanently online, such as Google maps, Bing, Yahoo, Open Street Maps, and others.
  • Offline maps for AGWTracker are the same as used for UI-View, namely the map image file and also an INF file containing the lat/long of the top left and bottom right corners. However because AGWTracker can zoom in and out, you can if you wish make a large map with fine detail. For example, instead of needing maps for each individual suburb in a city, just use one large map and zoom in to view the streets in a suburb.
  • Download my maps from here, including some Topo50 maps which have been adapted for APRS use, along with various other NZ maps.
  • Folders used for maps and POI's are not immediately obvious, you've got to go digging initially, so here they are:
The maps folder is C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\AGWTracker\Maps
(However, if you have your maps on a CD or a different folder, AGWTracker remembers where you loaded the last map from.)
The POI folder is C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\AGWTracker\POI
These folders are specified in Tools > Setup
