AREC Training 2004.04.27

The Papakura Radio Club is the location for the first training session / workshop for those Amateurs in the South Auckland Area who would like to become involved in AREC activities.  This session will be on April 27th. 2004 and starts at 7.30pm.

Initially, we would like to build a team of operators who can become involved, at various levels, in local AREC activities. These include procedures required for the local clubs we provide communications for. While the initial workshop will be directed at AREC 'Sport' communications, they will also benefit those with other AREC interests. Continuing on from these 'Sports' sessions, we will look at requirements for 'CD' communicators and also 'Search and Rescue'. 

This is not just a Papakura Radio Club workshop. These workshops are open to all that are interested in participating but directed at those of us in the South Auckland Area. 1st Meeting is in April 2004.
