The Western Suburbs Radio Club Inc.Clubrooms are situated at 3000 Great North Road New Lynn.

Meetings are held monthly on the second Monday at 7:30 pm. Generally a guest speaker is invited to talk on a radio related subject.

The Club is affiliated to The New Zealand Amateur Radio Transmitters (Inc.) (NZART) as Branch 03.

The Club runs Radio Theory Classes directed to prospective radio operators gaining their Amateur Radio Operating Licence. Classes start early in the year and examinations are held when the candidates are ready. The examination is computer generated and can be produced on demand as often as it is needed. Classes are on Tuesday at 7:00pm at the Clubrooms.

The Clubs Committee meets monthly on the third Monday at 7:30pm at the clubrooms.

The Club has an active Amateur Radio Emergency Communications (AREC) section. This meets every two months to train personel in the correct operation of radio equipment and emergency management techniques. Meetings are held Tuesday at 7:30pm at the clubrooms, or Wednesday if the Theory Classes are in session.
