Here are a couple of shots of one of the most interesting fish in the rubble area--the Yellowhead Jawfish (Opistognathus aurifrons).  How could you not like a fish with a face this ugly?  They excavate their nesting holes by carrying out mouthfulls of sand, then hover just above their holes to feed on the plankton drifting by.  When frightened, they retreat tail first into their holes.  If you wait patiently, they will slowly reappear.  When it comes time to raise a family, the male incubates the eggs in his mouth.  I have only found Jawfish in pairs, which makes me believe they might be male/female pairs.  Yes, I have seen the eggs being incubated--but by only one of the two in the pair.
