Rig        The Ham in Me

     I know that you don't die to know every little detail about my Ham becoming history so I 'll just tell you the very basic things and the I'll let you see some of my shack and other pictures.

     I've started by beeing a short wave listener YO8 - 18320/VS since 1982 then I've passed the exams for the Ham Certificate in 1986 but got my licence only in January 1990 after the changing of the political power in December 1989 and I became YO8RTR. In 1996 I've got the second class licence. During the last years of study I was in charge with YO8KGX the Club station of The Politechnical Institute of Iasi.

     I am very interested in digital modes , satelite communications , contesting and lately in UHF.
