XYL - Ex-Young Lady, meaning a Married Lady; usually refers to a ham's wife.
OM - Old Man, any male ham radio operator.

K -Go, invite any station to transmit

BK -Break
CL -Going off the air (clear)
CQ -Calling any amateur radio station (Many add a space between the C and the Q)
