March Activity - Amateur Satellite

I wrote an article in the Nov/Dec 2001 YL Harmonics where I suggested 12 activities that one can do in Amateur Radio during 2002 and recommended that we devote one month to each activity. Some of these may be new to you and others you may not have done. The list of activities are as follows:

What is Amateur Satellite?

Amateur Satellite communication is exactly what is sounds like. You are using satellites to communicate with other hams. Some satellites require one HF band for transmitting and another HF band for receiving. Other satellites will work using a regular handheld and 2m. Check out the links below for more details. I will try to expand this section later this month, as time permits.
