Due to gender inequality, in the early 20th century, women did not have the same opportunities or choices that men had. This existed in the family, workforce, educational institutions and other activities, such as amateur radio communications. Elizabeth VE7TLK/VA7TK, a Canadian licensed amateur radio operator, discusses these struggles and achievements of YLs (young ladies) in her slideshow presentation, delivered to a local amateur radio club.
