My name is Satiri from Indonesia. The connection of myself to ham radio started from 1987 when I graduated from university (Bandung Institute of Technology) and working for oil service company. My first licence was YD4EGA (novice), from Jambi central Sumatra. After sometime I took the examination for general license then I became YC4CAT. In 1996 I moved to Jakarta and transferred my license to become YC0KVZ. Due to the culture of oil business I have been travelling to some continents such as: Europe, America, Africa, Australia and of course Asia. Even though I have never met any foreign ham member which I would love to. In 1997, I took a long vacation and went to MBA school in Monash University Australia and back again to Schlumberger when graduated.
Beside amateur radio mania, I am very interested in music. My favorite type of music is 'DangDut', which is Indonesian traditional music.
