YB7XV Info Personal | ||
My name is Jelly Royke Goni and live
in the Balikpapan of East Kalimantan,
the oil city of the Republic of Indonesia.
I am born in 1960.
To date I am still enjoying my long time hobbies: ham radio, computer, and
camera's collection
As an amateur radio, my callsign is YB7XV.
Friends in my office called me "Gone" because they all
knew my fanatic hobby.
First licensed in 1994 and got General License (YC) in the same year.
After had followed Advanced (YB) class
exams for seven times,
finally, in 2000 I got the highest class.
From 1995 till 1999, I am very active in DXing
and Contesting
in High Frequency.
All antennas used
were "home-made" and constructed by myself.
Had participated in almost of world-wide DX Contests,
and had confirmed contacted with more than 200 DXCC
countries
in each mode.
My station was also used by scouts joined in the International
Amateur Radio Union (IARU) for several years.
In 1995, wrote a Morse Tutor in Basic to help everyone learned the code.
I am proud of the work which had been used by many Indonesian hams
to improve their capabilitiy in the morse code.
From 1997 to date my activities in amateur radio High Frequency,
my job in the Analize System department and playing with my
family
took much of my spare times.
Thank you to visited my homepage,
your comments and suggestions are highly appreciated.
